After seeing her fall up the stairs at the Oscars, we’d imagine pretty much the entire world fell in love with Jennifer Lawrence, but apparently she’s got a particular fan in Harry Styles. There were rumours that she’d caught the eye of the One Direction singer last month and apparently Harreh has since had one of those crushes where it feels like the butterfllies are playing netball all over your small intestine.

There are always rumours involving Harry’s supposed love life on the go and according to this week’s bunch, he’s supposedly developed a bit of a thing for J-Law that has led to a bit of good old-fashioned Facebook stalking.

Atlas Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures are set to begin shooting a major feature film in Boston, MA and New York City for Columbia Pictures. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are casting the film’s supporting roles. Smaller speaking roles are being cast in Boston and New York, where shooting will take place from March 18, 2013 through May 19, 2013. The project is currently using the working title of “Untitled David O. Russell Project”. Extras will be cast throughout production. Experienced film crew and production staff in Boston can also email resumes to the production office. 

“Untitled David O. Russell Project” tells the true story behind the FBI’s 1980 “Arab Scam” sting, which went by the operational name Abscam. After FBI agent Jimmy Boyle busts con artist Melvin Weinberg and his mistress Maxine Gardner, the two embark on the first major operation to trap corrupt public officials. Angelo Joseph Errichetti is at the center of the story of politicians indicted. The sting was executed using FBI agents posing as two fictitious sheiks seeking to bribe local, state and federal officials and eventually netted the convictions of seven members of Congress. 

Melvin Weinberg’s wife Marie accused her husband of taking $45,000 in payoffs from an Abscam defendant and giving away expensive suits and furniture to FBI agents. Marie said that she had her husband’s secret diary detailing the allegations, which she described as her “insurance policy,” hidden somewhere very safe. Also believed missing are dozens of tape recordings that Weinberg made secretly of his conversations with FBI agents. On January 28, 1982 Ms. Weinberg was found dead of apparent suicide, however her attorney Michael Dennis flatly refused to call Marie’s death a suicide and stated, “I don’t believe for one moment that she would take her own life”. Dennis also represented Florida Rep. Richard Kelly, a convicted Abscam defendant.

Starring in “Untitled David O. Russell Project” is Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper as FBI Agent Jimmy Boyle; two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner plays the role of Camden Mayor and eventual New Jersey State Senator Angelo Errichetti; Academy Award winner Christian Bale plays the con artist Melvin Weinberg, who was busted and then hired by the FBI; four-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams portrays Weinberg’s mistress and partner in crime, Maxine “Max” Gardner. Academy Award minner Jennifer Lawrence has joined the cast, re-teaming with “Silver Linings Playbook” director David O. Russell and co-star Bradley Cooper, playing Melvin Weinberg’s wife Marie Weinberg. Following this film, David O. Russell will direct Jennifer Lawrence in “The Ends of the Earth”.

Three-time Academy Award nominee David O. Russell is directing from a screenplay written by Eric Singer. Russell recently directed the film “Silver Linings Playbook” starring Bradley Cooper alongside the beautiful and amazing Jennifer Lawrence. That film was nominated for eight Academy Awards with one win by Lawrence in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. Russell is also set to direct another true story political corruption film about Rhode Island mayor, Buddy Cianci, who built a reputation for eliminating corruption for over two decades, then went to jail for racketeering. Writer Eric Singer is currently scripting the feature film “Splinter Cell” based on the Tom Clancy video game.

Academy Award nominee Jonathan Gordon will executive produce. Gordon’s Oscar nomination is from serving as producer on “Silver Linings Playbook,” in the category of Best Motion Picture of the Year. He has served as producer on three films, and this will be his 14th feature film serving as executive producer. Academy Award nominee Megan Ellison and Ted Schipper will oversee production for Annapurna Pictures. Ellison’s Oscar nod came for producing “Zero Dark Thirty” with Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal. Jennifer, who is set to come to London later this year to film an X Men movie, is even said to have been urged by Adele to move to Notting Hill, where she has a house, the Sun reported.

Christian Bale is reportedly the frontrunner to star opposite Jennifer Lawrence in The Ends of the Earth.

It was confirmed last month that Lawrence would reunite with her Silver Linings Playbook director David O Russell on the romantic drama, which is penned by Argo writer Chris Terrio.

The Daily Mail now reports that Russell is keen for Bale to play the male lead opposite Lawrence, with other contenders including Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

The Ends of the Earth tells the true story of oil tycoon Ernest Marland, who loses his empire after being caught in an affair, with the lead character being his 20-year-old adopted daughter Lydie (Lawrence).

Lawrence and Bale are also set to co-star in another of Russell’s upcoming projects, a currently untitled political drama centring on 1970s FBI sting operation Abscam.

IN Hollywood’s world of pretentious luvvies and precious A-listers, Jennifer Lawrence is a breath of fresh air.

Whether it’s stacking it at the Oscars, sparking up a dodgy-looking cigarette on holiday, admitting she loves carbs or joking to interviewers about peeing her pants, the 22-year-old beauty couldn’t be more different from her peers.

For while the world has fallen for J-Law, she remains remarkably down to earth.

The Silver Linings Playbook star — who last month became the second youngest winner of the Best Actress Oscar — reckons she is actually very DULL.

She says: “I never play characters that are like me because I’m a boring person. I wouldn’t want to see me in a movie.”

Her legions of fans may disagree, because Jen has proved again and again that she is far from boring.

Her tumble on the way to collect her Oscar, plus her witty acceptance speech, were the highlights of the star-studded evening.

Later she cheekily flashed her middle finger at reporters and joked that she had just “done a shot”.

Jen’s notorious clumsiness — she also split her dress on her way to collect her Screen Actors Guild award in January — can be traced back to her tomboy childhood in Louisville, Kentucky.

She says: “I was having this conversation with a friend who grew up in California, and I was like, ‘You never had any woods, you never dug a hole, or saw a snake, or climbed a tree?’

“She was like, ‘Well, I had the beach,’ and I said, ‘But where did you fall out of trees? Where did you build your forts?’”

This adventurous spirit was one reason Jen took the screen role of Katniss Everdeen in the four-part film series of the Hunger Games trilogy, the second instalment of which will be out later this year.

The first film, released last year, saw Katniss, childhood friend Peeta and 22 other kids fight to the death on a post-apocalyptic reality show.

Unfortunately for Jen’s co-star Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta, she once again proved accident-prone during filming.

She recalls: “I actually gave him a concussion but he had to console ME because I was the one who cried.

“We both did stunt training for the movie and I took it a little too far and did a perfect death kick.

“I meant to stop before hitting his temple but he moved — so it was his fault really.

The ubiquitous Jennifer Lawrence is on everyone’s BFF wish-list nowadays, but turns out that wasn’t always the case. The 22-year-old actress revealed to The Sun that she was bullied throughout her childhood, something that built her character and made her who she is today.

“I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,” Lawrence told The Sun. “They were less mean in middle school, because I was doing all right, although this one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn’t invited to.”

But a Jennifer Lawrence story wouldn’t be complete without a Jennifer Lawrence twist: “I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can,” she added. “Don’t worry about the bitches. That could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life.”

Lawrence also opened up about her new, slightly more grown-up status. “As for being a sex symbol, I don’t think of myself as sexy and, obviously, it’s not true,” she said. “I’m going to try to push that out of my mind because it makes me queasy.”

And if she is perceived as such, you can’t chalk it up to trying. “The other day I had pizza for breakfast, buffalo wings for lunch and pizza for dinner,” she told The Sun. “Probably my favourite food is a potato — just a potato, because I like fries, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes.”
