There’s no doubt that Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games” book trilogy has struck a chord with readers, and now Hollywood is looking to take things to the next level.
According to a report, Lionsgate is making the three books into a total of four movies, giving Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson quite the gig.
CEO Jon Feltheimer told press, “The property is generating tremendous buzz and excitement, and it all points to a major Lionsgate franchise in the making.”
And Lionsgate president Joe Drake added, “We have distributors who consider this as their big brand next year, the movie that can change their company.”
