Jennifer Lawrence speaks about how her mom relocate her Oscar statue in her home!
“I put it in the hallway towards the bathroom, and my mom was like, ‘I’m taking it. It shouldn’t be here.’ And now it’s on a piano in Kentucky!” Jennifer Lawrence tells Access Hollywood of her Silver Linings Playbook-affiliated Best Actress Oscar. She says she “felt odd having it, like, on display in my house. … If anybody’s coming over to my house, I didn’t want them to remember that. Just kind of puts a weird energy out.” It is weird to be like, “Yeah, see that statue? Never forget that I’m 22 and I’ve been nominated for two Oscars, won one of them, and I also sometimes star in a mega-popular young adult franchise TOO.” Question, though: Where do the statues for J-Law’s dozens of other wins reside? Does each one stand atop its own instrument in Kentucky? Is there now a gymnasium-sized music-and-trophy hall somewhere in the Louisville area?
